Heri Aheng

Church planters in Indonesia like Heri develop and establish fellowships of believers while facing all the challenges associated with frequent natural disasters, rugged terrain, and a difficult religious environment. Heri grew up in a family that practiced Chinese tribal religions. However, he grew in the knowledge of Jesus from a young age in school and accepted Him as Savior. He went on to study in seminary and now plants churches and engages in discipleship with Islamic and Christian people in Indonesia. Heri says, "Serving God is an honor and responsibility for me.
