Adireddi is the son of a single mother in India. His father died in a fire accident, so his mother provides for the family by working as a helper. They live in a tenant house in a small Hindu village. With the meager earnings Adireddi’s mother makes, she cannot afford to pay school fees, buy books, and uniforms or provide proper amenities for Adireddi. His mother has a desire to see Adireddi educated in a good school. Because of their poor living conditions, his mother admitted Adireddi to AMG’s residential school. By supporting Adireddi, you will be providing him and his family with an opportunity to be introduced to Jesus and to receive a quality education.

Visakhapatnam Child Development Center

The Visakhapatnam Child Development Center shines the light of the Gospel in communities impacted by other religions. Twice a day children hear from God?s Word and have times of prayer. In addition, the staff provides children with nutritious meals, school uniforms and supplies, educational assistance, and medical treatment. Children are encouraged to attend Sunday School where they are taught the truth of Christianity. Once a week students are also taught Bible lessons at the center.

India is a large country in South Asia. The majority of the population follows Hinduism and Islam, but there are many Christians as well. Many residents are very poor and suffer from diseases such as HIV/AIDS and leprosy. Alcoholism is prevalent and children often come from broken families due to divorce. India sometimes experiences droughts and intense heat making the need for clean water very important. The caste system was technically abolished, but its remnants still affect many in society today.
