Aisheen is an active young girl living with her parents and three other families in a tiny house in the Philippines. The space is made of hollow blocks and old wood. Although they would like to move, they have no money to build their own house. Her father has been unable to find employment, and her mother works as a telephone payment collector. Aisheen has two sisters and is the youngest of the family. She is active in church activities, and loves learning about Jesus. Through the child development center, Aisheen has found a safe place to grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. By sponsoring Adhea, you will make an eternal impact on her and her family. Thank you for your generosity.

The Philippines is a country that consists of over 7,000 islands in Southeast Asia. It has many active volcanoes and its location and torrential rainfall means that several areas are prone to flooding, typhoons and cyclones. The majority of the population is Roman Catholic, but some people are superstitious and still practice animism. Poverty, alcoholism and widespread drug use plagues their communities. This has led to broken families and abandoned children. There are few consistent job opportunities as well, making it difficult for parents to provide for their families.
