Anderson is an active young boy who enjoys playing soccer, singing, and eating. When he grows up, Anderson wants to become a police officer. A nanny cared for Anderson and his younger brother while their parents worked long hours, but their mother lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic, so she now stays home. While they are happy that they get to spend time together, Anderson’s family is hurting financially now that their only source of income is Anderson’s father’s job as a mechanic. Will you come alongside this family in their time of need? Your faithful prayer and financial giving can help provide Anderson with physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and social care. Most importantly, the staff at Las Vistas will disciple Anderson as he grows in his knowledge of Jesus Christ. Thank you for making an eternal impact on Anderson’s life. His younger brother, Marco, is also in AMG’s sponsorship program.

Las Vistas Child Development Center

The Las Vistas Child Development Center comes alongside families to help meet the needs of local children. Children are taught in school five days a week. Cooks at the center provide the children with delicious meals and they have access to safe drinking water. Children learn life skills at the center and receive counseling when needed. Additionally, the staff leads devotions each day and conducts Bible classes twice a week.

Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
