Billy is a kind little boy who lives with his parents and brother in a small house in Guatemala. He enjoys his English class and says that he would like to become a firefighter when he grows up. He also likes to play with his friends. Billy’s parents have a sixth-grade education and while they work hard to provide for their family, their incomes are not enough to provide all of Billy’s needs. His mother is a housewife and his father plants and sells vegetables. You can make a great impact on Billy’s life by partnering with AMG to help meet his deepest needs. AMG’s student center provides Billy with nutritious food, a good education, and most importantly, exposure to the Gospel. Thank you for your partnership!

Filadelfia Child Development Center

The Filadelfia Child Development Center is an evangelical school that provides hope for children in the community. The center is part of the Centro American Evangelical Church. Everyday children receive a quality Christian education and nutritious meals. Throughout the week, children also hear solid Bible teaching and devotions led by the staff. The church also hosts events such as multiple holiday celebrations throughout the year in order to reach families for Christ.

Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
