Dave is a kind young man in the Philippines. He is living with his family at his grandmother’s home. The home is built with nipa, wood, and galvanized iron sheets. Their is no running water in their home so the family goes to the community well for water each day. Dave’s father is working only on call so his income is not enough to meet all the family’s needs. They can hardly eat three meals a day. Your sponsorship will give hope to Dave and his family. At the center he will receive nutritious meals, medical care, a good education, and most importantly he will learn about the God’s gift to us all, Jesus Christ. Thank you for choosing to sponsor Dave making an eternal impact in his life.

Sum-Ag Child Development Center

The Sum-Ag Child Development Center is a place where children experience the love of Christ. This center partners with a local church so that children can attend church services and hear biblical teaching on a consistent basis. At the center, children eat nutritious meals and have medical check-ups to maintain their physical health. Center staff not only mentor and provide tutoring for the children under their care; they also share the Word of God and disciple them as they strive to meet their spiritual and physical needs.

The Philippines is a country that consists of over 7,000 islands in Southeast Asia. It has many active volcanoes and its location and torrential rainfall means that several areas are prone to flooding, typhoons and cyclones. The majority of the population is Roman Catholic, but some people are superstitious and still practice animism. Poverty, alcoholism and widespread drug use plagues their communities. This has led to broken families and abandoned children. There are few consistent job opportunities as well, making it difficult for parents to provide for their families.
