Jean Pierre is an athletic and active boy who lives with his parents and two siblings in Peru. Jean Pierre comes from an unstable home. His father moves in and out of the home depending on whether Jean Pierre’s parents are arguing or not. This instability has affected all the children. They live in a rented house with few facilities and amenities. Jean Pierre’s home life has made him very quiet. Jean Pierre feels most at home on the soccer field but loves playing any sport. When he grows up he would like to be a soccer player. By sponsoring Jean Pierre, you will be giving him access to consistent care and stability. With your help, the development center will not only be able to provide Jean Pierre with his basic needs and education, but also spiritual guidance and biblical teaching. Thank you for blessing Jean Pierre and his family.

Dr. Spiros Zodhiates Child Development Center

The Dr. Spiros Zodhiates Child Development Center provides physical and spiritual care to children in the nation’s capital. The center is associated with a local church that teaches biblical truths to the children from the center. The center staff cook wholesome meals for the children and help them with their homework. The children are also provided with supplies and uniforms to attend school. Medical care is given when needed. Above all, children are taught the Word of God and spend time in prayer at the center.

Peru is a culturally diverse country in South America. The majority of the population profess to be Christian, with the majority being Roman Catholic. Terrorism and social violence can be common in certain areas. Generally speaking, there is a lack of stable jobs and it is often difficult to find consistent work. Many fathers abandon their families, leaving them in challenging circumstances. Alcoholism, drug use, and gang violence are also prevalent in many communities.
