Jonathan is a darling boy. He is growing up in a very poor neighborhood outside of Lima, Peru. Jonathan and his family live in a small home with one room. It is made with cardboard, bamboo, and other scraps. Jonathan’s father works selling goods on the streets. His income is unstable and very low making it difficult to provide all his family’s needs. Your sponsorship will be a huge blessing to Jonathan and his family. At the center he will receive nutritious meals, medical care, help with his education, and most importantly he will be taught God’s precious Word. Thank you for making an eternal impact in Jonathan’s life.

Dr. Spiros Zodhiates Child Development Center

The Dr. Spiros Zodhiates Child Development Center provides physical and spiritual care to children in the nation’s capital. The center is associated with a local church that teaches biblical truths to the children from the center. The center staff cook wholesome meals for the children and help them with their homework. The children are also provided with supplies and uniforms to attend school. Medical care is given when needed. Above all, children are taught the Word of God and spend time in prayer at the center.

Peru is a culturally diverse country in South America. The majority of the population profess to be Christian, with the majority being Roman Catholic. Terrorism and social violence can be common in certain areas. Generally speaking, there is a lack of stable jobs and it is often difficult to find consistent work. Many fathers abandon their families, leaving them in challenging circumstances. Alcoholism, drug use, and gang violence are also prevalent in many communities.
