Kala is a sweet girl who enjoys learning about science. She enjoys playing hockey. Kala has a brother. Her father works as a welder and her mother works in crops picking produce, when its the right season, so she not always has a job. They live in a rented house in a poor neighborhood. Her parents do not make enough money to provide for the familys basic needs for food, education and transportation. Sometimes Kala is not able to attend school because they are not able to afford all the school fees. Would you consider sponsoring Kala today? Together, we can transform this family in Jesus’ name.

India is a large country in South Asia. The majority of the population follows Hinduism and Islam, but there are many Christians as well. Many residents are very poor and suffer from diseases such as HIV/AIDS and leprosy. Alcoholism is prevalent and children often come from broken families due to divorce. India sometimes experiences droughts and intense heat making the need for clean water very important. The caste system was technically abolished, but its remnants still affect many in society today.
