Oliver comes from a very large family in Guatemala. His father is a farmer and a hard-worker. Some of Oliver’s siblings are old enough to work so they help their father provide for the family. Along with having their own jobs, they also help their father in the field. Despite all their best efforts, the crop yield is small, and the family struggles to survive. Oliver is a good student and his favorite subject is Math. Oliver likes to read Bible stories and play soccer and basketball. He dreams of finishing his education and becoming a police officer. Through your support, Oliver will receive healthy meals, biblical teaching, and an education. This would be a huge blessing to this family and would open many doors for Oliver. Thank you for making an eternal difference jn his life.

Filadelfia Child Development Center

The Filadelfia Child Development Center is an evangelical school that provides hope for children in the community. The center is part of the Centro American Evangelical Church. Everyday children receive a quality Christian education and nutritious meals. Throughout the week, children also hear solid Bible teaching and devotions led by the staff. The church also hosts events such as multiple holiday celebrations throughout the year in order to reach families for Christ.

Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
