Wensel is an active young boy in Guatemala. He lives with his parents and two siblings in a small, dangerous village where consistent theft and assault are the norm. His father works as a moto-taxi driver and his income is low. Because of his limited resources, he is only able to provide for the basic needs of his family. However, Wensel needs additional support. He suffers from a disease in his eyes that required surgery in 2015. Now he needs things to care for his eyes such as special glasses, but his family is not able to afford them. By sponsoring Wensel, you help provide him with medical care, nutritious food, and an education. Most importantly, Wensel and his family will be exposed to the gospel, and Wensel will be taught from the Word of God at the center regularly. Thank you for investing in Wensel’s life and offering him a brighter future!

Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
