AMG Ministries in Argentina

Argentina is a country whose people have experienced great hardship in recent years because of a terrible economic downturn. The city of Luján has been hard hit. AMG has been reaching out in many ways to help people at the point of their need and tell them about Christ – the only One who can restore peace and joy in their hearts. Pastor Jorge Ovando and his church have opened four soup kitchens, established a drug rehabilitation farm, conduct English clubs, camping ministries, kindergarten and primary schools and now they have begun a soccer school and AWANA clubs, with over fifty teenagers participating every week in the soccer school. After each practice the Gospel is shared, and many of these teens are trusting Christ as Savior and are getting involved in Bible correspondence courses. All of these church ministries have an emphasis on evangelism and discipleship. This work in Argentina is growing and thriving by God’s grace.
