Camp Joy

Camp Joy is an AMG facility in Thailand that serves not only as a youth camp for those in AMG’s childcare ministries, but also as an outreach facility for youth and adults. In this Buddhist country, Camp Joy has had a tremendous impact on the lives of many people in advancing the cause of the Gospel. Most of the campers at Camp Joy come from our childcare programs. The camping program gets the boys and girls away from the mundane for fun activities that continue to provide regular instruction in God’s Word. But activities continue year-round, and also extend to teenagers, seniors, farmers, housewives, men, and English students. The camp has hosted “English Camps” where participants learn and practice English and hear the Gospel. The facility has also served as a retreat center for churches and pastors in the region. The mission of Camp Joy is to reach the Thai people for Christ, regardless of their economic condition.
