Home of Hope Orphanage

Home of Hope Orphanage is located in Bacolod City on Negros Island in the Philippines. Most of the residents make a living by working in the sugar plantations. However, many of these jobs have disappeared because of the falling price of sugar and increased communist guerrilla activity. The Home of Hope Orphanage was founded to help these children who are in need. Many children come from broken families, with some having no parental guidance and others being born out of wedlock. Many children came to the orphanage malnourished and thin but are now healthy. The children eat three meals a day, attend school, and receive help with homework. The spiritual lives of the children are also improving through training in the Word. These children receive love and care which was never available to them before coming to the Home of Hope Orphanage.
