Child Protection and Restoration Program

This challenging front-line ministry reflects the reality of life in Guatemala, revealing an alarming rate of abuse, neglect, abandonment and suffering among a large percentage of children in poverty. AMG and partner IJM (International Justice Mission) are dedicated to rescuing and restoring children at risk to the image of God showing each child his/her identity is in Christ as new creations with a priceless value because of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. Our legal and clinical staff have managed thousands of cases and prosecuted many abusers in Guatemalan courts. Through the love of relationships, therapy, and mentoring we seek to help children and their families break generational sins, spiritual strongholds that seek to enslave and keep them from accepting God’s unconditional love, healing, forgiveness and restoration. Our child protection team consists of our passionate staff of professionals, clinicians, attorneys and partnerships with local churches and other like-minded organizations to bring God’s healing and wholeness to these desperate children.
