Medical - Pakistan 0826

When Z* arrived at AMG’s mobile medical camp in Pakistan, he carried his feverish son in his arms and had nowhere else to turn.

Z is a brick kiln worker and a father. For three days, he and his youngest son had been suffering from a fever. There was no nearby clinic, no affordable doctor, and no transportation. And, the kiln owner would not allow them to leave work or provide money for treatment.

Our medical team examined Z and his son and suspected malaria because of the harsh conditions surrounding the kilns — poor sanitation, inadequate shelter, and constant mosquito exposure. Our team immediately provided medication, and one of our pastors prayed with the family, sharing the compassion and hope of Christ.

By that evening, both Z and his son were already feeling much better.

Praise the Lord, land has already been purchased for a permanent medical clinic, and construction will begin soon. At the same time, AMG’s medical outreach is already bringing care to brick kiln communities and rural villages through mobile medical camps.

So far, three mobile clinics have treated 190 patients, serving approximately 60–70 people during each outreach. At every clinic, pastors pray with patients, encourage families, and share the hope of the gospel.

  • $50 could provide life-saving medications for patients suffering from preventable illnesses.
  • $150 could help support a day of care and outreach for vulnerable families.
  • $300 could help provide compassionate nursing care for vulnerable families.
  • $850 could help support a physician serving families who otherwise have no access to medical care.
