Siput Urang Child Development Center

The Supit Urang Child Development Center is located in a small village in East Java. This area is very poor. The center is located by a garbage dump. Families scavenge in the garbage for material that can be sold for recycling. Some travel to the city and work in a factory, but there is a large travel expense. Most families struggle to put three meals on the table each day, much less provide for their children’s education. AMG opened up the Supit Urang Childcare Center and started an elementary school to serve this poor community. Now sponsored children are provided with education along with nutritious meals and medical care. Every day the children attend the center, they hear God’s word preached and are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ.
