Tegaldlimo Child Development Center

Tegaldlimo Child Development Center is located in a small village in East Java. The village is surrounded by rice paddies and other farmland. Most of the families work as farm laborers, construction laborers, or peddlers. Their income is below average and is insufficient to meet a family’s basic needs. This center was started when the Indonesian Bible Church opened a health service for children at a church. Soon it grew into the Tegaldlimo Childcare Center with the help of AMG. Now children come to receive a meal, help with their schooling, and medical care. Each time the children attend they hear of Christ’s love for each of them. This is a largely Muslim community and they see how the center has made a difference in children’s lives for the better. Many have started coming to church where they learn how to have a personal relationship with Christ.
