John Clert Munoz
John is a seven year old boy in the second grade. He lives with his parents and one older brother in a "re-blocking" area in a shanty with no electricity or water hook-up. The family must pay a neighbor for water. The usual meal for the children consists of rice or noodles. John's father is a painter with insufficient income to provide basic needs for his family. His mother is a housewife who cares for the children.
