Mariam is a playful girl in Uganda who dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up! Mariam's mother passed away when she was young, so she now lives with her father, stepmother, and three siblings. Her father works as a gardener, and he is struggling to pay for Mariam's school fees and provide for other basic needs.
