Plaifon Saelee

This young girl lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in the hill country of Thailand. Her parents are farmers who have suffered financial difficulties. They must lease government hillside land to farm and the weather has been inconsistent for a number of years. They and their neighbors are in debt repaying the loans. Their crop of corn was raised to sell and rice for the family to eat. Plaifon?s home is a one-story wood and brick structure with the bathroom on the outside. She is destined to go to work in the fields if she is unable to attend school. She is a healthy young girl with dreams of becoming a teacher. With support she will receive adequate healthcare, attend Bible studies and be given an opportunity for an education.
