Edgar Sendiwala

Edgar is a quiet young boy from Uganda who lives with his mother and two siblings. He has sickle cell disease and suffered a stroke caused by malaria, which left the right side of his body paralyzed. Edgar receives full-time assistance with his day-to-day activities. Despite these challenges, Edgar enjoys playing with his friends. Along with meeting the child's physical and educational needs, the Upendo Christian Academy is an orphanage where children live and grow as disciples of Christ through biblical teaching and times of prayer. Edgar's life will change dramatically by attending the Redeemer's Child Development center. Edgar will receive warm and nutritious meals, be part of a Christian community, and learn about the Lord from caring teachers.
