Shamad Jorge Chacin
Shamad is a brave young boy in Colombia who lives with his grandfather and is an only child. Shamad loves painting and wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Along with meeting the child's physical and educational needs, at the Obra Moises Child Development Center, the children are taught scripture, receive help with their homework and also are given a large meal each day after school. Sponsorship for Shamad would change his life for the glory of God. Not only will his basic needs be met, but he will learn about the gospel and be discipled by a loving community.
