Vel-Binaie is a little girl in Pre-K. She has two sisters and one brother. Vel-Binaie and her family live in a poor, rural area of northern Haiti. Vel-Binaie's mother is a teacher; she is grateful to be employed, but the family still struggles for necessities including the children's educational expenses.
