Financial Accountability

Committed to fulfilling sound, biblical standards

The support of faithful financial partners is vital to AMG International’s work around the world. That’s why we make every effort to be transparent in our communication, our work and honoring our donors, who have entrusted us with their donations. This commitment is recognized by our membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and in our four-star rating with Charity Navigators.

Donor Privacy Statement
We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by AMG International, both online and offline, on any platform, as well as any electronic, written or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Partnership Acknowledgements
AMG International’s ministries in India are also supported by AMG International Germany, Deichmann Foundation, Christoffel Blindenmission, Kindernothilfe of Germany, Woord en Daad of Holland, Far Corners World Missions Inc. of Long Beach, California, and occasionally by other organizations. Woord en Daad of Holland also assists AMG International’s ministries, particularly in its relief work in the Philippines, Greece, Guatemala, Cyprus and Thailand.

Financial Policy
Designated contributions to the support of AMG International ministries are greatly appreciated, and a receipt will be issued for all tax-deductible gifts. However, if a particular need is over-funded, our solicitations for that need will be discontinued, and otherwise designated funds may be redirected and applied to cover funding shortfalls of similar projects (at the discretion and direction of the Board of Directors and Senior Management), and then to broader projects or needs that fall within the mission and ministry purposes of AMG International.

Overhead
AMG International management continuously analyzes and seeks ways to reduce overhead in order that every available dollar reaches the mission field. “Overhead” includes salaries of our limited home office’s non-departmental support staff and normal expenses associated with conducting ministry business, such as insurance, utilities, office supplies, etc.

Agencies

ECFA and Charity Navigator logos and info

A number of agencies are available that rate charities like AMG International by comparing them to peer organizations and ensuring that they meet certain criteria. The following resources provide more information on AMG International’s compliance to standards set by two prominent charity rating agencies.

Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA): ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, transparency, fundraising and board governance. ECFA accreditation entitles a ministry to use the ECFA seal and is tangible assurance to donors that their contributions are being handled in accordance with high standards of integrity. Charity Navigator: This agency’s rating system examines two broad areas of a charity’s performance: financial health and accountability/transparency.
