Marie Joe wanted to share both her perspective on the Bundles of Love program and how impactful your giving is.
Indeed, the ability to “give” is a God-given gift people can exercise for the expansion of His grace and the benefit of people in need. I am so thankful for those who have this gift and have blessed others in desperate situations in all corners of the world.
I have been blessed for many years by kindhearted donors who gave sacrificially to the Bundles of Love program, impacting me significantly. The love they have shown helped me realize that I am an important and special person.
I have received things I never had growing up, and I feel like my needs have been abundantly met. Bundles of Love has taught me to be thankful in everything, always.
December is one of the most exciting and awaited times of the year for me and many other children living here at Home of Hope. I am always excited and look forward to a new dress, shoes, and other special items on my wish list! I have also learned how to take care of the gifts given to me, and I encourage my fellow classmates to take care of anything they are given because of the effort and prayer behind every gift we receive. My prayer is that someday, remembering the compassion shown to me, I will be able to share compassion with other little girls and boys in need like I was.
I am praying for safety and good health for you and your family this holiday season. I am also praying that He will move your hearts to bless more children like me. May His blessings abound so that you may be able to meet the greater needs.
