Some of AMGs national leaders live and minister in areas where Christians are persecuted for their faith. In order to not jeopardize their safety and security the identities of this valuable couple and their two children have been changed for this web description. S.V. states, "My father was a minister in the villages surrounding my home, and as a young boy I traveled with him in his ministry. But I was not saved and only pretended to be a Christian. As a high school student I developed bad habits and was held in bondage to the sins of the flesh." S.V. married a devoted woman and both attended Sunday services. However, there was no true change in S.V.s life. In 1990 a Gospel meeting was held in S.V.s village and he heard the message from 2 Cor 5:17. The message touched his heart and God spoke to him through His Word that evening. S.V. states that he "wept and confessed his sins to God." That's when he accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. S.V.'s desire was to bring the saving knowledge of Christ to the people of his village, so he constructed a small prayer hall. Eighty members are now attending the worship service there. His wife conducts women's meetings in the church, and together they visit the homes of Hindus residing in the village. Thank you for thoughtfully considering supporting this couple's ministry.
