Soledad Salgado Chavez De Jara

Soledad met the Lord with her husband, Carlos, when she was 26 years old and her oldest son was five. Missionaries from the United States taught and led her and her husband through their first year as Christians. The example this faithful missionary couple provided firmly impacted Soledad and Carlos’ lives as they were shown how to live a life of faith and hope. They were taught about the true love of God and the meaning of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. Soledad now serves at an AMG-supported child and youth development center in Huaraz, Peru. God has used the difficult circumstances she faced as a child to give Soledad compassion and a unique ability to effectively minister to the children with whom she works. Soledad are Carlos have two sons.
