AMG Ministries in Greece

From our beginning in 1942, AMG International has had a unique burden for and connection with the Greek people. We began as the American Committee for the Evangelization of the Greeks (later the American Mission to the Greeks), reaching out with the Gospel message to Greek immigrants in New York City and, after World War II, to the people of Greece.

Today we work in many countries around the world, but ministry to the Greeks has remained a core part of our identity. AMG’s ministries in Greece include St. Luke’s Hospital – a state of the art medical facility, Christian bookstores, childcare ministries, newspaper evangelism, literature and periodical publishing and distribution, and a prison ministry. In the outskirts of Athens, AMG’s CosmoVision Center serves as a center for youth outreach and as a host facility for conferences and retreats to encourage and equip local church leaders as well as mission groups and New Testament study tours. Your gift will provide much-needed financial support for these crucial ministries during this time of financial crisis in Greece. The Gospel message is the only true hope for the people of Greece, and AMG is one of the only trusted ministries working there now to bring the light of Christ into troubled hearts.
