Diego is a sweet young boy in Guatemala who lives with his parents and his two younger siblings. He loves to study and his favorite subject is Communications. Diego’s father works as a builder and a farmer, but he does not have a permanent job so it is difficult to provide for all of his family’s needs. Diego wants to continue learning and desires a safe place to play his favorite sport, soccer. By sponsoring Diego, you can help provide him with a good education, nutritious food, a safe place to play, and medical care. Most importantly, Diego will be taught from the Word of God and will be discipled as he grows in his relationship with his Savior.

Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
