Keylin is a girl studying in the eighth grade. She has one brother and lives with her family in a rural farming community. Keylin’s mother is a housewife, and her father works every day in the fields. They work hard but need help to provide for the children’s education. The family lives in a house that has block and wood walls, a tin roof, and a dirt and cement floor. Meals are cooked over a fire, and they pay monthly for water and electricity services. Keylin dreams of becoming a teacher. Her favorite subject in school is crafts and she likes helping her parents. Your sponsorship will help Keylin attain her goals for the future. Thank you!

Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
