Mikha serves the Lord in Indonesia along with her husband, Sunyoto. They have four children. From an early age, Mikha was exposed to many different religions but embraced Islam, even though she had doubts. As she grew and learned about Christianity in school and through Christians who blessed her through sponsorship, Mikha realized she wanted to follow Jesus! “His love is real and His power is poured out on my life,” Miska says. Today she is serving the Lord as a church planter, counselor, and Sunday School teacher! She serves and ministers to children, young people and the elderly. Please pray for Mikha and her family to remain faithful in their Kingdom work.

Indonesia is a predominately Muslim country in Southeast Asia. Many work as farmers, but due to the uncertain climate it’s difficult for them to maintain their crops. Other common occupations include construction workers, freelancers, and house cleaners. Many of the families are poor and do not have the funds to pay for medical treatment. Multiple families have to live together in the same house a lot of the time. Many parents lack a formal education and get married young. Domestic violence is also prominent and husbands are prone to leave their families.
