Natchaphon is a cute little boy in Thailand. His favorite subject in school is Thai. He is the oldest child in his family and has three younger sisters. Natchaphon and his family live in a rural village. His parents provide for the family as best they can through farming, but are unable to generate a sufficient income and cannot meet all of the family’s needs. With the help of your sponsorship Natchaphon will have the opportunity to grow physically and spiritually while receiving a good education, nutritious meals, clothing, and medical care. Thank you for offering hope to Natchaphon and his family through your generosity, love and prayers. God Bless.
The Museekee Hostel is a refuge for children with difficult family circumstances. The hostel provides a roof over their heads along with running water and electricity. Three nutritious meals are served daily to the children. They also receive medical attention when needed. The hostel partners with a local church where the children are invited to participate. A member of the staff shares a lesson from the Bible every day, and children are encouraged to share the Gospel with their fellow villagers as well.
Thailand is a predominantly Buddhist country, and many people also believe in the spiritual realm. Children from poor families go to state-run schools where teaching is sub-standard. Their parents normally have little education and cannot be relied upon to help them. School children seldom reach the ninth grade and most end up working in family farms. Since the people have very low or no education, they lack basic knowledge of life skills like personal hygiene, household management, family planning and balancing budgets.
