AMG International has more than 300 national leaders serving in 36 countries. These men and women are at the heart of every AMG ministry; they are truly the hands and feet of AMG International reaching out to their own people with the gospel. Through our National Leaders Fund, we can come alongside them and better equip and resource them to serve others, while inspiring hope and transforming communities.

Because national leaders are already familiar with the local language and culture, they can reach people without the challenges that cross-cultural missionaries might face. They do not require tedious government paperwork, thus freeing up their time and energy for ministry. In addition, national leaders can minister in their own culture at a fraction of the cost of preparing, sending and sustaining a cross-cultural missionary.

Currently 100 of our national leaders are not sponsored, but with your help we can change that. It will take $62,400 to support these national leaders for the 2020 year. When you donate, you will receive letters from one of our national leaders throughout the year, and you will have the opportunity to respond. You will be able to specifically pray for one of our national leaders, investing in them spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Please prayerfully consider coming alongside one of our national leaders today.

Uganda is a landlocked country in Africa. The majority of the population is Christian and there are a large number of Muslims. Witchcraft and animism are still believed and practiced in certain areas as well. Poverty is rampant throughout the country as well as a lack of education. Sickness and disease are prevalent and many lack the means to receive medical treatment. Often children suffer from malnutrition. Many struggle with drug use and alcoholism. It’s common for families to be torn apart due to divorce and separation.
