Santos is a sweet little boy in kindergarten. He has five siblings. Santos’ mother is a housewife, and his father works in a local government office. The family lives in a house that has block walls, a tin rooc, and a cement and dirt floor. They pay monthly for their electricity and water services, and meals are cooked over a fire. Santos wants to have a good job one day, and his favorite school subject is PE. They are grateful for the opportunities that Santos has through the sponsorship program. Thank you for your investment in Santos’ life and future!

The church also hosts events such as multiple holiday celebrations throughout the year in order to reach families for Christ.
Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
