Susana is a studious and sweet girl living with her parents in Guatemala. Her father picks up the daily jobs he can, but is unable to find permanent work. Unable to afford food, they grow their own at home. Susana’s mother takes care of the children and is a very dedicated mother. They live in a house made of cinder blocks and cook their food over the fire. Susana loves dogs and reading her bible. She dreams of graduating and becoming a police officer. By sponsoring Susana, she will receive full nutritious meals, an education, and be taught about her loving heavenly father. Thank you for making an impact on this child’s life.

Filadelfia Child Development Center
The Filadelfia Child Development Center is an evangelical school that provides hope for children in the community. The center is part of the Centro American Evangelical Church. Everyday children receive a quality Christian education and nutritious meals. Throughout the week, children also hear solid Bible teaching and devotions led by the staff. The church also hosts events such as multiple holiday celebrations throughout the year in order to reach families for Christ.
Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. The majority religion is Christianity and is primarily Roman Catholic. Families in Guatemala suffer from many difficult circumstances such as drug use, alcoholism, physical violence, broken homes, and malnourishment. Often children are forced to begin working at an early age. Many families are extremely poor, live in small dilapidated homes and don’t make enough to provide for their physical needs.
