Museekee Hostel

The Museekee Hostel is located in the Chiang Mai province in Thailand. The villages in outlying areas have no electricity or telephones and many families run out of food at the end of growing season. Many families do not have plumbing facilities and draw water from wells nearby. The Museekee Hostel was established by Zothansiami Ralte, a young Indian woman who requested aid from AMG in providing a boarding house for women. The hostel has reached out to many of the native people and many of them have responded to the Gospel. However, many are still in need of spiritual guidance and training. At the hostel, children can take classes on sewing, weaving, rice milling, baking, and grocery. They are also taught how to raise livestock, prepare meals, and wash clothes. The hostel provides an alternative to the harsh conditions of the area and helps bring the Good News of Jesus to the people.
