National Missionaries Advancing the Gospel

When Denis stands to preach in front of the congregation on a Sunday morning in Uganda, he is not just leading a church, he is living proof of what God can do through AMG’s national missionaries who know the language, the culture, and the needs of their people.

Denis’ story with AMG began years ago, not as a pastor, but as a child.

Growing up in a poor community in Uganda, Denis, with the support of a loving sponsor, got the support and help he needed through AMG’s child sponsorship program at the Bukoto Child Development Center. It was there, through the faithful and loving care of AMG’s national leaders and discipleship programs, that Denis first encountered the gospel and came to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Looking back, Denis shares that it was through the passionate sharing of the gospel by AMG staff that he was convicted of his sins and came to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus. That moment changed everything.

In 2019, with AMG’s support, Denis and his wife Daisy sensed the Lord leading them to step out in faith and help plant a new church in Uganda, just north of Kampala, in a growing community with deep spiritual need.

And through your support of leaders like Denis, God is building His Church—one community, one disciple, one church plant at a time.

Our goal is to raise $65,000 in February to equip national missionaries to advance the gospel and take it into even more places around the world.

A gift of $25 helps provide essential ministry needs for a national missionary.
A gift of $50 helps equip and develop local leaders.
A gift of $100 helps strengthen church planting efforts in growing communities.

Every gift you prayerfully give—large or small—grows the church of Jesus on earth by empowering national missionaries to advance the gospel where it’s needed most.
